Director of Corporate Services / CFO

Job Description:

Due to a planned retirement, we are accepting applications for Director of Corporate Services/CFO.  This leadership position is responsible for all activities and staff supervision within Corporate Services, which includes all financial functions (e.g., billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, annual budgeting and forecasting, and managed care), information technology services and facility services. This position serves as a member of the Senior Management Team to set the organizational culture and values and to promote high quality, efficient and effective internal operations.  Also serves as agency HIPAA Security Officer.  

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.

•Licensure/Certifications:  CPA or MBA preferred. 

•Budgeting, cost accounting, collections, and financial accounting experience preferred.

•Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision- making skills.

•Ability to create and interpret financial and operational reports utilizing agency software, including (but not limited to) CYMA, Netsmart, F9, benchmarking software, and Donor Express.

•Ability to learn and adhere to regulations governing healthcare and reimbursement sources.

•Ability to learn and utilize manual and automated operation systems, office practices, procedures and equipment.

•Ability to input and access information from automated operation systems.

•Ability to provide transportation for work-related business. 

•Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Information Services Manager

Job Description:

The Information Services Manager is responsible for all aspects of our network administration. Preferred candidates will possess a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications, or related field.  In lieu of a degree, must have at least three years’ experience in the IT field.  Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal and written), well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work in a team environment, and the ability to organize and implement multiple tasks at one time. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with some on-call responsibilities.

Part-Time Assistant Volunteer Coordinator

Job Description:

Hospice of Randolph County is looking for a Part-Time Assistant Volunteer Coordinator. This newly created position is responsible for assistance with recruitment, training, placement, retention, and supervision of agency volunteers according to agency policies and procedures and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assuring compliance of volunteer services with all applicable standards, regulations, policies and procedures; assisting in evaluating volunteer services/program for continuous quality improvement; working to promote a positive public image for Hospice of Randolph County programs through volunteer involvement and services; participation in public speaking engagements and other opportunities to recruit volunteers; preparing and completing accurate documentation and reports as needed.

Qualifications:

•Two year degree preferred. High school diploma required.

•Experience in volunteer management; knowledge or the ability to become knowledgeable of the hospice philosophy of care. 

•Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, required. 

•Ability to enter and retrieve data on computer.

•Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting, as well as independently.

•Ability to work flexible schedule as needed.

•Ability to learn regulatory requirements for volunteer program.

•Ability to provide transportation as needed.  

•Valid North Carolina driver’s license required.

•Ability to organize and implement multiple tasks

Corporate Compliance Officer / Director of Quality Programs

Due to a planned retirement, we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced, registered nurse responsible for the overall planning and implementation of the agency’s compliance and quality programs. 

 Qualifications:

•Licensed registered nurse, 4-year degree desired, in good standing with NCBON

•Substantial experience in home care management and operations with previous experience in healthcare compliance/quality program management preferred.

•Strong knowledge and understanding of all federal, state and local regulations and statutes that govern healthcare required. 

•Requires detailed understanding and skillful use of techniques of quality improvement, outcomes measurement, statistical analysis and compliance monitoring, auditing and investigations. 

•Proven ability to design and implement effective staff education and training programs.

Registered Nurse Case Manager, Full-Time

Registered nurse needed for a full-time Case Manager position at Hospice of Randolph County.  Must be available weekdays and weekends. Individual will provide end of life care to patients residing in the home and facility settings.  Candidates should possess excellent assessment skills and strong organizational abilities as well as strong critical thinking skills. Must be able to work within an interdisciplinary team and possess effective oral and written communication skills.  Applicants should have one year of acute care experience. Hospice or Home Health experience is preferred. Must have current NCBON licensing without restriction.
