Homicide Loss Support Group on Oct. 12Posted on Oct 3rd, 2017 | Perma Link
If you or someone you know is grieving the loss of a loved one by homicide, come and find a small group of supportive individuals who are coping with this very difficult type of loss. This group was formed to provide support to loved ones as they move through the grieving process. For a portion of the meeting, criminal justice professionals will also be available to answer general questions about the criminal justice system. At the October meeting, Tim Pheagin of Hospice of Randolph County and Ray Warburton from the District Attorney's Office will offer insight and support. This group will meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Randolph Public Library (201 Worth St. in Asheboro) from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. This meeting is a collaboration with the Randolph/Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, Hospice of Randolph County, the Randolph County Sheriff's Office and local law enforcement. This group is a part of the North Carolina Victim Assistance Network (NCVAN). For additional information, please contact Tim Pheagin at Hospice of Randolph County by calling 336-672-9300.
