Randolph Hospice House Inpatient Facility Registered Nurse, Full-Time Nights

Job Description:

***  $5,000 Signing Bonus to come join our team! ***

Full-time RN needed to work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 p.m. until 7:15 a.m. at our state-of-the-art inpatient facility. Every other weekend is required in the schedule rotation for a total of 36 hours per week.  An additional 12-hour shift may be required as needed. Competitive pay and benefits package includes evening and weekend shift differential. Long term care and/or hospice experience is a plus. Must have current NCBON licensing without restriction.

Candidates should possess excellent assessment skills and organizational abilities as well as strong critical thinking skills. Must be able to work within an interdisciplinary team and possess effective communication skills, in both oral and written form

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year experience in an acute care, hospice or home health setting.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Hospice certification a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, current automobile liability insurance at limits required by HRC, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Billing / Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description:

This full time position is responsible for all aspects of agency medical billing to include, but not limited to, preparing and submitting all medical billing claims, maintaining/resolving receivables, and researching and networking outstanding medical claims. Responsibilities also include verifying insurance eligibility for all hospice patients. Minimum of 2 years medical billing experience preferred. Prior experience with Netsmart also preferred.

Qualifications:

1. Practical working knowledge or related work experience of principles of medical billing, claims resolution and medical accounts receivable.

2. Ability to learn requirements and regulations set forth in Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance policies and other related agencies.

3. Ability to input and retrieve information from the computer.

4. Ability to maintain positive working relationships and courteous interaction with the public.

5. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.

6. Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills.

7. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Homecare Hospice Aide (CNA), PRN

Job Description:

Nursing assistant needed for home and/or facility visits for hospice patients. Must be available weekdays (M-F 8 AM - 5 PM) and occasional weekends.

  1. Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
  2. Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide I course who has successfully completed the competence examination and is currently listed as an NA I with the Division of Health Service Regulation Healthcare Personnel Registry with no substantiated findings.
  3. A minimum of one year’s work experience as a nursing assistant desired.  Hospice certification preferred.
  4. Must possess a valid driver’s license, current automobile liability insurance at limits required by HRC, and reliable transportation.
  5. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Registered nurse needed for a full-time Case Manager position at Hospice of Randolph County.  Must be available to share in call rotation weeknights and weekends. Individual will provide end of life care to patients residing in the home and facility settings. Candidates should possess excellent assessment skills and strong organizational abilities as well as strong critical thinking skills. Must be able to work within an interdisciplinary team and possess effective oral and written communication skills.  Applicants should have one year of acute care experience. Hospice or Home Health experience is preferred. Must have current NCBON licensing without restriction.
