Virtual Volunteer Training

Volunteers play an important role in the hospice team in a variety of capacities. Patient/family volunteers interact with patients and families by making home visits, visiting those living in assisted living or skilled nursing facilities or visiting with patients at Hospice Home at High Point or the Randolph Hospice House. Some volunteers help with transportation and getting patients to necessary appointments or take care of essential business. Other volunteers provide clerical support like filing, assembling patient handbooks or answering the phone and greeting visitors at the inpatient facilities.
