When the Holidays are Hard: Helping Children Connect to Hope After a Loss (Asheboro)

Hospice of the Piedmont and Hospice of Randolph are launching a special Kids Path holiday grief event for the families in our communities. This in-person event will be open to any child who has experienced the loss of a loved one as well as their parent or guardian.

During this event, children will participate in craft activities and learn interventions that can be utilized in moments of deep grief.  Additionally, parents and guardians will be invited to an educational session with our bereavement counselors to learn about how grief impacts children.

Our hope is to help grieving children prepare for the upcoming holiday season while also equipping their loved ones to support their child through the grieving process.
