The E-Series: The Meaningful Role of Hospice Volunteers

In this episode, we highlight a few moments from the field with our hospice volunteers. Mike Key, a We Honor Veteran patient volunteer, and Charles Carter, a caregiver respite and patient volunteer, have logged nearly 50 years combined service with the organization and impacted countless families in meaningful ways. Let's listen to a few stories that have impacted them throughout their time of hospice volunteerism.

For many veterans, military service is the most important thing that they have done in their lives. As part of We Honor Veterans, those patients are now paired with a volunteer who also served in the military and share a common bond.
