Adults Grief Counseling for Adults
Hospice of Randolph offers grief support for adults and families of hospice patients and community members who are struggling with the death of a loved one.
All services are offered free of charge and we are here to support you in ways that best serve your needs and wishes.
Adults can find support through –
- One-on-One Grief Counseling is available for adults, teens and children in the community grieving the loss of a loved one. To connect with a bereavement counselor for free individual grief counseling, please call our High Point (336.889.8446) or Asheboro (336.672.9300) office.
- Grief support groups for adults provide a safe, supportive environment where concerns, fears, and questions can be discussed. Support groups are led by experienced professional counselors and meet for five or more consecutive weeks. Groups are offered several times a year during daytime and evening hours.
- Seasons bereavement newsletters are filled with helpful information, suggestions and inspirational guidance for the grief journey. These newsletters focus on the initial 13 months following a loss and are available to the general public. To receive the Seasons newsletters via email, please sign up here.
- Educational events are held throughout the year, providing additional opportunities for support. Events such as Hope for the Holidays and the annual memorial service bring people together in the community for sharing, education, and support. - Grief 101: An Introduction to Grief and Mourning is a video educational resource that normalizes the experience of grief, identifies different symptoms and experiences that grief may influence, and equips individuals with coping strategies for the difficult days following a loss.
